Anticipation. You know that feeling... that little tickle in your brain the night before a big vacation or the rush you get when your crush is calling. We have to admit, that's the same feeling we got when we first rolled up to this terrific two-story. We knew from the location that the views would be special, but just how special? We had to go inside. Guys and gals, can we put our anticipation to rest? It's got views! Just look at the views from the back. The large deck makes wildlife, weather, or just being nestled in nature a great way to spend your free time. This view-tacular home (see what we did there?) has 4 beds, 3.5 baths, and nearly 2500 square feet of awesome. The anticipation wasn't just around the views; the interior didn't let us down, either. Spacious rooms and a floor plan that just makes sense. The kitchen has granite tops, real hardwood floors, and overlooks the home's common areas. But also killer views. The dining area? Enjoy steak, potatoes, and a mouthful of views. The main floor family room is the sellers favorite view spot. Aside from the fireplace, mantle and rock surround, you can see clear to downtown Salt Lake. Not to worry, it doesn't come with a Salt Lake City price tag. Our favorite lookout? The master bedroom. That's not a picture you're seeing, that's what waking up everyday in this home looks like. And unlike similar floorpans in the area, the additional footage in the basement and fully landscaped and fenced yard means even more room to spread out and enjoy - you guessed it - the views.
What the Sellers Love
The view is what sold us on this lot and we built the house to take full advantage of the each view this property had to offer. The back of the house features extensive of views of the mountains from each level. I love how it is open between the kitchen, dining and family room. From the comfort of the dining room, family room and master bedroom we have seen elk, coyotes, deer, and so much more. The mountains are gorgeous during the day and the city sparkles at night. We have spent most of the summer in the backyard and on the deck, drinking in the views and enjoying meals. All the landscaping was done with native plants to Utah, so it is easy to maintain and a lot of great high altitude colors come out in the Spring and Summer amongst the Southern Utah red rock that surrounds the house. And we would be remiss if we didn't mention the Aspens, which provide a great sound when breezy and beautiful yellow in the fall. Whether it is a Winter Snowstorm or a Summer Thunderstorm, we have enjoyed watching the weather across the Wasatch and Salt Lake Valley with views of 11,000+ ft. mountains nearby to the wide expanse on the other side of the Great Salt Lake nearly 80 miles away. Just like our friends and family, it is not easy for us to leave this house. This house is not just in Suncrest, Suncrest is in this house along with a piece of the Wasatch Mountains and Salt Lake Valley that we will not forget.
