Throughout the year, you will see a mix of seasonal traditions, neighborhood events, and the kind of moments that turn into stories people keep telling.
Summer nights tend to land on the Village Green.
Hosted by the SunCrest HOA, the lawn fills with live music, food trucks, and neighbors spread out on blankets as the sun goes down. Some nights lean bluegrass, others feel more like old-school rock, and on others, the screen comes out for movies in the park.
Different setup, same outcome. People show up, stay awhile, and no one seems in a hurry to leave.
Pie It Forward has become one of the most meaningful things we do on the mountain.
It is not about the pie. It is about the meaning behind it. The nominations, the porch conversations, and the quiet moments of care. It is a tradition that connects the community in a way that lasts all year.
At the SunCrest HOA Holiday Party, we showed up with cocoa, marshmallows, and a little extra holiday cheer. A simple tradition that brings out the best of the mountain every single time.
Across the holidays, we helped honor SunCrest’s veterans with flags placed in their yards. A simple and meaningful way to recognize the people who have given so much.
The parks are where a lot of life in SunCrest naturally unfolds.
Picnics that turn into conversations. A quick game of pickleball that turns into an hour. Kids running around while neighbors catch up nearby. You will still see the occasional movie night in the park, but most of what happens here is not planned. It is just people showing up and spending time together.
We proudly supported the SunCrest HOA Pool Opening Plunge with SunCrest-themed sodas. The most-requested drink of the day?

Each year, we kick off #BooSunCrest and let it take on a life of its own.
Families surprising families, kids sprinting porch to porch, and neighbors making sure no one gets missed. We will not pretend we know the exact count, but the porches were busy.
