The Two Hollows Trail is a mellow, peaceful trail that canvasses the East side of the SunCrest area. It’s a double wide track that is great for groups, families, and kiddos. Horses are also able to use this trail and yes, dogs are permitted on leash – woof, woof!
Getting to the trail is pretty easy thanks to its multiple access points. Canyon Point Road in Hidden Canyon Estates, Winged Trace Court in Mercer Reserve. The Two Hollows trail is an “out and back” style trail which allows hikers to choose a distance that best matches their hiking preferences. The Two Hollows Trail also connects to Mercer Mountain, Mercer Hollow, Fango, Hog Hollow, and Pork-U-Pine. If you’re up for an adventure, you’ve definitely got options here!
This trail features unobstructed views of the Mt. Timpanogos, Highland and Alpine City, and the Traverse Mountain Wilderness range. While hiking, keep an eye out for wildlife – deer, porcupine, and even an occasional Moose (yep, MOOSE!) in the less busier months. Expect to see dogs on leash (don’t forget yours!), hikers, bikers, families, and wildflowers. Most of the trail is exposed so sunscreen and water are recommended. Tip: This is a great trail for running!
